Statoil in and for Germany

Statoil Deutschland GmbH is a 100% owned daughter company of the Norwegian oil and gas company Statoil ASA.

The office is located in Emden where 23 people are employed.
Since February 2010 the Norwegian Richard Eriksen has been Managing Director for the company.

In the middle of 2007 the company moved to new office locations in Dithmarscher Straße after Gassco took over the operations of the gas terminals in Dornum and Rysumer Nacken.

In October 2009 Statoil Deutschland founded two new companies for the transport and storage business: Statoil Deutschland Transport GmbH (MD: Hermann Satthoff) and Statoil Deutschland Storage GmbH (MD: Andreas Jordan). 
In May 2010 the new daugher company Statoil Deutschland Transport GmbH moved into separate premises in Emden, Promenade Am Alten Binnenhafen 6.
