In the spring of this year, our Norwegian parent enterprise, StatoilHydro ASA, decided to return to its former name, Statoil. This change in the name of the company will be linked from 1st November 2009 to the introduction of a new logo and corporate design.

In preparation for the “Third EU Legislative Package” issued in July 2009 towards the regulation of the European Natural Gas Market, the transportation and storage units of Statoil Deutschland GmbH will be spun off simultaneously. In conjunction with this spin-off, all the relevant assets and liabilities will pass to the new subsidiaries:
Statoil Deutschland Transport GmbH and Statoil Deutschland Storage GmbH.

All customers and associates of the new companies will shortly receive further information from the respective managements. We would ask you to appreciate that the complete reorganization of the business units, Transportation and Storage, will require some time.

The known invoice-relevant data will, of course, remain unchanged for all customers and partners of Statoil Deutschland GmbH.
