In 2009 StatoilHydro Deutschland is partner and main sponsor of the Musikalischer Sommer in Ostfriesland and this out of  good reasons: „The Musikalischer Sommer and Statoil have many things in common, which go far beyond the 25th anniversary“, says Kerstin Dirks, the press spokeswoman of the company. „Both have performed pioneer work in and for East Frisia. Both are promoters of the art and music and contribute thereby to the cultural strengthening of the region. Both support the new generation, which is very important to us.”

For two decades StatoilHydro Deutschland takes over social and corporative responsibility by its long-term and strong commitment to local child and youth projects.

HOT Talent (Heroes of tomorrow)

"We support the Heroes of tomorrow“, is the slogan of the world-wide business campaign HOT (Heroes of tomorrow), which supports young exceptional talents within the ranges art, sports and education.

„We need the Heroes of tomorrow: On the soccer pitch, on the stage and especially in our company, where we count on creative and courageous personalities “, says Kerstin Dirks.

Some of the outstanding talents of the HOT campaign will be presented by the Ostfriesische Landschaft and StatoilHydro in the context of the Musikalischer Sommer at the „Norwegian weekend“: The young trumpet player Tine Thing Helseth and the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra will perform together on 7 and 9 August 2009 in Emden and Esens.
