August saw a chamber concert take place in Dornum’s historic Wasserschloss as part of the 24th ”Musical Summer” festival. The event, which was sold out, featured works by Schumann, Schubert and Mozart. The audience was visibly impressed both by the music and the musicians performing it.

This was the first year that StatoilHydro Deutschland has been among the festival’s sponsors – a development it views in a very positive light.
